Upcoming Halloween Events Along The Grand Strand

There is plenty of fun to be had along the Grand Strand during the month of October and this weekend is no exception.  With fall finally arriving and Halloween right around the corner, here are some spooktacular events you may want to check out.

There are strange things in the air this Halloween weekend.  Visit The Deck at the House of Blues on Saturday, October 26 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. for their Strangest Things 80's Halloween Bash.  Dress up in your best 80's outfit or come as your favorite Stranger Things character.  Admission to the event is free and a prize for the best costume of the night will be awarded.  Enjoy music from Miracle Max & The Pet Monsters and DJ Bigg B.  Check out HouseofBlues.com/myrtlebeach for more information.

Even stranger things are happening at the SkyWheel on October 30 from 8:00 p.m. to midnight.  It's ticketed as the strangest SkyWheel adventure ever held. Tickets are $20 per person for a haunted ride in the "upside down" for this after hours event.  Visit SkyWheel.com for tickets and more information.  Tickets are running out fast!

It's Halloween Week at Broadway at the Beach!  The fun starts on Saturday, October 26 at 7:00 p.m. and kicks off the "Halloween Bash on the Avenue" with live music, tons of giveaways and an adult costume contest. On Halloween, October 31st Broadway hosts trick or treating for families with younger children from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and a fireworks show at 8:00 p.m.  Check out Broadwayatthebeach.com for details.

Long Bay Symphony's Halloween Extravaganza begins at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 27th at Myrtle Beach High School Music and Arts Center at 3302 Robert Grissom Parkway in Myrtle Beach.  Performing macabre masterpieces inspired by the frightful and fantastical, you won't want to miss this!  Visit Long Bay Symphony for details.

Halloween Week at Market Common begins on October 25th!  This event hosts movie screenings, hayrides and on Halloween night get ready for a trick or treating event for costumed adults, children and pets from 5:00 to 7:00.  You can enjoy Headless Coachman carriage rides and a Monster Mash outdoor dance party for adults and kids in front of the Grand 14 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Also stop by 810 Bowling for a kids costume contest at 7:00 p.m.  Check out MarketCommonMB.com for more details on the upcoming events.

Oh my, it's Ghost on the Coast on Saturday, October 26th from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.  The celebration is at Marina Park and features a costume contest.  There is also a Ghosts on the Coast 5K.  Check out GrandDunes.com/2019-ghosts-on-the-coast for more details.

Halloween on the MarshWalk!  Set for Thursday, October 31.  Come down to the south end and enjoy costume contests for kids and adults and trick or treating starting at 5:00 p.m.  Check out Marshwalk.com for specific details on the times for the children's contests and the adult contests.  

Next up, BooFest! at Barefoot Landing on Saturday, October from 12 to 4:00 p.m.  Register for costume contests, Ed Piotrowski will serve as the emcee.  Visit Barefoot Landing for more details.
