We start off this week with the 14th Annual Myrtle Beach International Film Festival which begins April 23rd and runs through April 27th. This event is also known as the East Coast version of The Sundance Film Festival. Several films will be shown through the week at the Grand Cinemas at Market Common in Myrtle Beach.
The 11th Annual Ground Zero Dragon Boat Festival is this Saturday, April 27th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Market Common. In addition to the boats there will be awards, music, food, vendors, entertainment and a family zone. A good time to be had by all.

Singing in the Sun, a Gospel music event starts April 22nd and runs through April 27th at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.
The SOS Spring Safari starts on April 25th and runs through May 4th. Shaggers from all over descend on the Grand Strand for dancing, fun, parades and fantastic music. You don't want to miss this!

It's a Shore Thang runs from April 19th to April 27th at Plyler Park. Enjoy good music, dancing and prizes. runs from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Barefoot Landing on the Waterway hosts live music every Friday and Saturday night from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., April 12th through May 25th. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy the evening.
