Since 1966 I have grown up on the Carolina coast. I am one of the few native locals. I watched Myrtle Beach grow from a small beach town with only two main roads and only two things to do (lay out on the beach or go for a swim). I have worked in three area hospitals since 1991 one in Myrtle Beach, one in Little River and one in Brunswick county NC.
I did leave the area in the late 80's to attend college in Morehead City, NC following an internship in radiology at what was then Charlotte Memorial Hospital. I have family in the greater Charlotte area. I lived in Atlantic Beach, NC, the southern most part of the Outer Banks, while attending college. Post graduation I lived and worked along the Neuse River in New Bern,NC at Craven Regional Medical Center. The Summer of '91 was spent working in Chicago, Il. The one thing all these cities have in common is a shore line. Yes, even Charlotte... just ask all the Nascar drivers and Micheal Jordan.
I have spent many years since 1998 sailing and racing boats offshore here along the Grand Strand. I have deliverd boats from Charleston and Georgetown, SC to Norfolk, VA, Annapolis, MD, Cape Cod, MA, Cape May, NJ and Freeport, ME. I lived aboard a sailboat at the Myrtle Beach Yatch Club, in Little River, until 2005. I have seen the Grand Strand from the roadways, the Intracoastal waterway, the rivers and many miles offshore. It is safe to say if it is near the water and between Wilmington, NC and Charleston,SC I have been there and done that.
My Dad was a local farmer, preacher and singer. Mom joined in on the singing. She worked in a sewing plant in Tabor City,NC. They taught me that all you take with you when you leave this world is your reputation and character. I take mine seriously, as a result, you will get my absolute best. Always.

We met Jeff back in Dec 2015 while my wife and I was on vacation for a week in North Myrtle Beach SC. A friend of ours introduced us to Jeff Duncan for property searching.
