Me? As a native of UK ,I instantly feel in love with the potential and beauty of this exciting small town. I opened and operated several successful retail stores over the years here, one of which is still open at the Broadway at the Beach. Over this period I also owned condominium units in the Bay Tree complex in North Myrtle Beach. The units were rented as long term rentals but one was advertised as a short term vacation rental and provided a great insight into the " holiday rental business" . Gaining experience of marketing the unit to the deadlines that need to be honored was very exciting. These experiences have given me a wealth of knowledge about what to look for when buying and selling rental properties.
In the 18 years of being in business in this town I have found what it is to make that business work. Furthermore the importance of making the right decisions in the right time frame!

I live in New Hampshire and contacted a Coldwell Banker real estate agent I had business dealing with purchasing a condo about 3 years ago to see if she could help me find an agent for another vacation home 900 miles away in the Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina.
Within one day of my initial e-mail to her, I received one from a Coldwell Banker agent named Paul Nunn. We spoke on the phone that same day and conversed about what exactly I was interested in, the general area, my price range and details of when I would be in the area to look at properties.
He asked me to download his business app and I was receiving listings that were very much spot on as to what we discussed. For the next couple of weeks prior to my arrival down there to see my son, his wife and newly born grandbaby, I was selecting units that I may be interested in to view from his selections.
I didn’t want to spend my few selected days on vacation riding around looking at properties, so we scheduled the afternoon of my arrival and the next morning as well to do so. I was confident that the pre-communication would be a plus in viewing exactly what I was interested in.
That first afternoon we looked at no less than eight condos on my list. He had the whole afternoon mapped out as to where we were going. I was taking notes and he had listing sheets of all the units we looked at. Never looking or owning property in the south, he gave me insight as to certain things I should look for that pertain to issues in that area. What amazed me most about Paul was that he would see something that may have been past issues or future problems and steer me away from that property.
I knew right then the type of professional Coldwell Banker had working for them. He was not there to \u201Csell\u201D me a condo but was very instrumental for me to purchase a condo I would enjoy going to for years to come.
The day ended, and I was exhausted from the travel down and wanted to review my notes and any recommendations he passed along to me. At ten o’clock that night, I sent him a text message throwing him a curve ball. I told him I wanted to now see homes now!! We were meeting again in the morning at ten am, in twelve hours.
The morning came quickly, he sent me some properties through the web site to view while having breakfast and I received the place to meet at the first home we were going to. We looked at about six homes over the next few hours and again he would point out thing that may become a concern in the future or may have been issues in the past. I never felt pressured to decide on anything nor did I feel that the sudden change in property types were an issue with him.
I felt that out of the ones we looked at, there was one that came to the top of my mind. I informed him I needed a day or two to think it over. He knew I was only on vacation for five days and this was day two. On Thursday, late afternoon of day three, I asked to be able to view the one that I may be interested in but wanted my son to look at it as well. We scheduled the viewing late Friday evening; my flight was leaving on Saturday. Being able to look at it again with another family member, I filled out paperwork with his advice on how I should proceed, what to ask for, etc.
He was very instrumental in the whole process, always answering his text messages, emails and phone calls promptly with any concerns I had.
Forty days later, I am the owner of a vacation home which will become my retirement home. Paul has gone above and beyond his role as a real estate agent. As I stated earlier, he did not \u201CSELL\u201D me a home but assisted me greatly in purchasing a home I can enjoy in retirement. Coldwell Banker’s has a great team of dedicated individuals working for them that keep your interests in mind not theirs.

Paul was our realtor last year when we purchased a 2nd home in Myrtle Beach. Living in PA, we felt that communication would be difficult since we were so far away, however, Paul proved us wrong. The entire process felt seamless, as if we lived in the same town. On our initial 10-hr trip down to Myrtle to look at properties, Paul had many visits set up for us, all of which were viable options. He listened to our needs, respected our price range, and set up some really good options. He was very informative about the area, as we knew nothing! He advised us appropriately about prices and was very good at negotiating on our behalf. This was my 4th home purchase over the years, and I must say it was the easiest, even though so far away. Paul is still in touch with us and has become a family friend. He helps us with any questions we have about the area, our home, etc, since our purchase nearly one year ago.
