My name is Marc Thomas and I have been in the construction field for close to 15 years.  I was born in Ohio, grew up in West Virginia and moved to Myrtle Beach in 1990 where I attended Coastal Carolina University.  I have been a licensed residential contractor/builder since May 2004 which is when my company, Classic Home Builders of South Carolina, LLC, was formed.

I have built all size homes ranging from luxury custom homes to comfortable affordable homes. To date I have built over 250 homes throughout the Conway and Myrtle Beach areas.  I also have experience in remodeling and land development.  

I am the exclusive builder as well as one of the Developers, of Cottage Creek, a new community of 79 single family affordable homes in Conway.  I am also the Preferred Builder at The Preserve at Green Lakes, custom brick homes, on the ocean side of Hwy.17 in Myrtle Beach. 

I am happily married and my wife and I have two children. We have built 3 custom homes of our own over the past 10 years and currently reside in Conway.

My family and I attend St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Conway and have been active members since 2003.  In 2009 I was elected to our vestry, this position is responsible for all the construction and maintenance of our building and grounds. 

I have a huge passion for what I do and enjoy working with people in helping them create their dream home, whether it is a year round residence or a second/vacation   home.  Although the economy has been a bit challenging lately, my business has remained strong and I look forward to many more successful years in this business.
