Myrtle Beach Romance, Fun Valentines Ideas

Posted: February 10, 2017 at 12:00 AM by Rod Smith

Most of us know Myrtle Beach as the go-to destination for sunbathers and thrill-
seekers, but it's also a great place for lovebirds as well! If you've been thinking about
getting away to the Grand Strand for Valentine's Day, below is a list of fun and
romantic things to do with your significant other during this famous celebration of
love.

Cupid's Comedy Capers (February 10)
If you and your date like to keep things lighthearted on Valentine's Day, try checking
out Cupid's Comedy Capers courtesy of the Carolina Improv Company and the
Uptown Theater. This unique brand of performance comedy involves lots of hilarious
audience interaction and spur-of-the-moment antics dealing with the topics of
marriage, relationships, dating, love, and more. The show starts at 7:30 p.m., and
tickets are available online at [http://www.carolinaimprov.com].

Valentine Bonfire at the Vineyard (February 11)
The La Belle Amie Vineyard is a romantic place no matter what time of year it is, but
they really double down on the couple-friendly vibe during their Valentine Bonfire.
You can chill with your date in a relaxing lawn chair as the bonfire crackles, and sip
delicious wine while you enjoy delectable food and excellent live music.

Ripley's Splash of Love (February 13)
Perhaps one of the most unique Valentine's Day experiences in Myrtle Beach is
Ripley's Splash of Love, where you'll be able to enjoy the breathtaking sights of
Ripley's Aquarium along with a delicious four-course dinner, drink tickets for the bar,
and a long-stem rose to boot. The cost is $79.99 per couple (plus tax), but you can
also upgrade to the "Tunnel of Love" package for an extra $10 and receive a box of
delectable chocolates, along with a strolling musician. Be sure to book your spot
soon, because reservations will be required.

Animal Swoon Under the Moon (February 14)
Hey, animals get lonely too! The good news is that nature has a way of helping our
forest-dwelling friends find their mate, and you can explore these interesting
practices with your mate by way of Myrtle Beach State Park's Animal Swoon Under
the Moon event. You and your significant other will be able to enjoy delicious warm
beverages while hanging out on the pier, and then you can watch the moon rise over
the ocean at this gorgeous nature preserve. After that, head over to a fire-lit picnic
shelter to find out more about how animals go about finding their mates in the
wildest and funniest of ways, including singing, bellowing, leaving scented notes,
dancing, and a lot more. The cost is only $10 per person and space is limited, so be
sure to book your spot as soon as possible.

Wine & Design Valentine's Day Event (February 14)
Wine & Design offers a romantic Valentine's Day experience for you and your special
someone by guiding you through a collaborative art project as a couple. You will
paint one half of a painting and your date will paint the other half, and these two
halves will be combined together to produce a love-inspired work of art. You can sip
wine or beer during the process (one glass apiece, after that it's BYOB), and you will
enjoy a delectable dinner courtesy of Carrabba's Italian Grill.

Love is definitely in the air at Myrtle Beach during Valentine's Day, and this is just
one of the many reasons why living on the Grand Strand is so much fun. If you've
